Pockets of Beavercreek Area Experiencing Commercial Power Outage- Feb. 17, 2026

Update 11:47AM: Power has been restored to the area and techs will be removing generators. 

Update 11:32AM: Service has been restored to homes in the Windy City node area. PGE is still working on the power outage source at Hwy 21 and Carus Road. 

Update 8:42AM: The remote node areas affected include Carus, Carus South, and a portion of Windy City. BCT techs are setting generators to power connections to these remote nodes and are checking for additional damages. The PGE Outage Map shows 282 homes without power in the area as of this time. 

02/17/26 7:02AM: BCT is currently experiencing a cable internet outage due to a PGE commercial power outage related to a traffic accident that damaged facilities near Hwy 213 and Carus Road. The PGE Outage Map currently indicates that 444 homes are without power in the area. BCT techs are investigating and will work to restore services as quickly as possible once PGE crews repair the damaged lines.
